Governance Top 100 Winner 2022

We are thrilled to announce the Winner and Outstanding Achievers for Governance Top 100 for 2022

Zoheb Razvi, the Group Company Secretary, Ventia, has been named the 2022 winner of Governance Top 100 which was launched by 3YS Owls Governance Consultants in 2020.

Mr Razvi was selected from an elite group of corporate governance professionals across a range of ASX-listed entities, not-for-profit groups, government organisations, private and unlisted public companies. Finalist’s represented large and small entities from various sectors including local Councils, agriculture, banking and financial services, Government and Government Owned Corporations, engineering and mining, healthcare and pharmaceutical, infrastructure, sport, other professional services and manufacturing.

As part of his submission to Governance Top 100 Mr Razvi said: “ Winning this award is remarkable as we managed to successfully harmonise two multi-billion dollar operating groups and completed an IPO in a single year and during a global pandemic.”

Ainslie Cunningham, co-founder and director of 3YS Owls, said the judging panel was impressed by the calibre of this year’s submissions from nominees that participated in Governance Top 100 and the ongoing commitment to enhancing governance throughout their organisation despite the continued challenges of workforce recruitment and fatigue presented by the pandemic. These awards bring governance to the fore by celebrating and recognising the individuals that are responsible for driving these initiatives. As a finalist for 2020, 2021 and 2022, Zoheb is a true example of that, being named an outstanding achiever in 2021 as well as taking out this year’s award for winner of Governance Top 100 2022.

The contributions that each of this year’s finalists made to improve and uplift corporate governance processes and add value to their respective organisations, and to the profession more broadly, was at a really high standard. It was excellent to see a wide representation of governance professionals from various backgrounds and across a broad spectrum of sectors and industries, and to read about the passion and enthusiasm to best practice corporate governance being advocated by all. Most impressive was to read about the commitment of so many high-performing individuals who went above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities to effectively manage significant periods of change within their organisations while still working through various other challenges such as the continued effects of the pandemic and key regulatory reforms.
